When you submit our driver registration form, we collect:

• Full name
• Mobile number
• Email address
• Suburb
• Licence class (HR, HC or MC)
• Years of truck-driving experience
• Preferred type of work (local metro, regional, interstate, or open)
• Equipment or freight experience (if provided)
• Source information (how you found our website, including any Google Ads campaign parameters)

We do not collect payment card numbers, government identifiers (such as licence numbers or tax file numbers), or sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act at the point of registration. If a specific employer later requires verification of licence details as part of their own onboarding process, that will be handled directly between you and the employer.

We collect candidate information when you submit our online driver registration form at truckerrecruitment.com/drivers.html or at truckerrecruitment.com, or when you contact us directly by phone or email.

5. How we use your information

We use driver registration information to:

• Maintain a record of your experience, licence class, location and preferred work type
• Identify permanent opportunities that may be relevant to your profile
• Contact you when a potentially suitable permanent opportunity becomes available
• Confirm your interest before progressing any introduction to an employer

Registration does not guarantee that a suitable vacancy exists or will become available. We will contact you when your profile aligns with a specific permanent position.

6. Who we disclose information to

We may disclose candidate information to:

• Employers — only with your prior approval for a specific vacancy (see section 7 below).
• Service providers — including Formspree Inc. (our form processing service). These providers process information on our behalf and are not authorised to use it for their own purposes.
• Professional advisers — such as accountants or legal advisers, where required.
• Regulatory bodies — where required by law.

7. Consent before disclosure to employers

When we identify a permanent vacancy that appears relevant to your profile, we will contact you to describe the opportunity and confirm whether you want to proceed. Only after you have confirmed your interest will we introduce you to the employer.

You may withdraw your registration at any time by contacting us at jobs@truckerrecruitment.com. We will remove your details from our active candidate records.

8. Storage and security

Driver registration submissions are received and stored through Formspree Inc., a third-party form processing service. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

9. Overseas disclosure

Formspree Inc. is a US-based service provider. By submitting a registration through our website, your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

10. Retention and deletion

We retain candidate registration information for as long as is reasonably necessary to identify and introduce suitable permanent opportunities, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

11. Accessing and correcting your information
